This wise old wizard lights up the battlefield and offers vital assistance when faced with any mechanical enemies. In one of the boldest attack actions, Ramuh unleashes the power of thunder and lightening through his wand by slamming it to the Earth and summoning his Judgement Bolt. He appears in main titles and some of the best Final Fantasy spin-off games. Fans will also know her as one of the few Summons with a friendlier reputation, more often than not offering no sign of ill-will before or after being acquired.Īnother Summon who has been around since Final Fantasy III, Ramuh is a much beloved force in combat. She often enters a fight with a graceful flourish before using her signature Diamond Dust attack. It’s no surprise she appears frequently in Final Fantasy properties outside the main series as well. Shiva the Ice Queen has been in almost every main series title since Final Fantasy III, and she is much beloved. Best when set on foes of ice and snow, Ifrit is a classic figure in the series who’s been besting enemies with his fire-balls for three decades and is one of the most powerful summons in the Final Fantasy VII Remake. Ifrit is an epic, genie-like figure with immense (literal) fire power who makes a frightening sight on any battlefield. This remains true of many of the Summons available across the games. Knowing which element has power over another can mean the difference between a win or a loss in combat. It will be exciting to see what this Queen of Storms will be able to do in XVI.Įlemental magic has been a fundamental aspect of the fight systems in the Final Fantasy franchise since its inception. Her attacks may not deal as much damage as other Summons, but they do pack quite a punch. ![]() She’s featured as a boss battle in one of the best RPGs for the PS2, Final Fantasy XII. Players may find it to be a huge waste of MP to summon Titan if they’re battling enemies of the airborne variety in the most recent series release as his attacks can fail completely to strike any such target.
